High school diploma issued after at least 12 years of documented studies. If the country where the qualification has been obtained requires a test for the academic suitability, you must also present the successful examination (E.g. Requisiti linguistici

italiano Non-eu students residing abroad who would like to enroll in a study course completely taught in Italian, have to prove their knowledge of the language through an Italian language test. The test will be organized by the CLA (University Language Centre), only after pre-enrollment on the Universitaly portal. Panoramica

The Bachelor’s Degree in Orthoptics and Ophthalmological Assistance aims to train professionals in the prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of visual disorders. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing students to assist ophthalmologists in treating eye diseases and providing rehabilitation for conditions such as strabismus and amblyopia. Students gain hands-on experience through clinical placements at the university’s ophthalmology department.

Graduates can pursue careers as orthoptists and ophthalmic assistants in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and research institutions. They will be prepared to assist ophthalmologists in diagnosing and treating visual disorders, provide pre- and post-operative care, and participate in public health initiatives related to eye care. Graduates may also be involved in education and awareness programs regarding visual health.
