High school diploma issued after at least 12 years of documented studies. If the country where the qualification has been obtained requires a test for the academic suitability, you must also present the successful examination (E.g. YKS in Turkey, Selectividad in Spain, Prova de Aferiçao o Prova Geral de Acesso ao Ensino Superior in Portugal, etc.). Requisiti linguistici

italiano Non-eu students residing abroad who would like to enroll in a study course completely taught in Italian, have to prove their knowledge of the language through an Italian language test. The test will be organized by the CLA (University Language Centre), only after pre-enrollment on the Universitaly portal. For further information, please refer to the following page The following categories are excluded from this obligation: 1. students who intend to enroll in degree courses in English; 2. students in possession of an Italian language certification of level B2 or higher (such as CILS, CELI, Roma3 or PLIDA). The teaching activities of the course of study are delivered in Italian. Graduates of the master’s degree program must be able to use fluently, in written and oral form, at least one European Union language in addition to Italian, also with reference to disciplinary lexicons.

Altri requisiti

Candidates in possession of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification obtained abroad may be admitted to the Single Cycle Master Degree in “Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics”. The number of students who may enroll in, is established annually based on the national program, applying the parameters and guidelines prepared by the University and the School of Medicine, in line with the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Formation of Dental Practitioners of the European Union.

Panoramica

Graduates of the Single Cycle Master Degree in “Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics” will be trained to carry out prevention, diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired diseases and anomalies of the teeth, mouth, jaw bones, temporo-mandibular joints and related tissues. Graduates are also able to perform the complete techniques for dental rehabilitation, prescribing the proper examinations and medications necessary for the maintenance of oral health. Graduates of the Single Cycle Master Degree in “Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics” must complete courses that cover 360 credits, organized into 6 (six) years; at least 90 (ninety) credits will be obtained with professionalizing clinical training activities to be carried out in an integrated manner with other training activities at university healthcare facilities. The professional training activity is mandatory and necessary for obtaining the master’s degree and is planned by the teaching regulations within the overall duration of the course of study.

Graduates of the Single Cycle Master Degree in “Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics” have employment opportunities in the profession of freelance dentist in clinics. They can carry out first and second level management activities in the National Health System.
The course prepares for the professions of Dentists and Odontostomatologists.
