Altri requisiti | Italian or foreign citizens in possession of a first level degree in Biological Sciences (class L13) issued by any Italian University, or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as equivalent according to current legislation, are admitted to the Degree Course in Environmental Biology. Possession of curricular requirements is determined by having acquired no less than 90 CFU in the scientific-disciplinary sectors (S.S.D.) CHIM/03, CHIM/06; FIS/01-07; MAT/01-06; BIO and of these at least 40 CFU in the basic ‘Biological Disciplines’ area of the degree class L-13. |

Panoramica
The Master degree Course in Environmental Biology is aimed at graduates who have acquired a good basic preparation in biological disciplines during a three-year degree.
This course aims to provide in-depth knowledge of biological and ecological processes for the training of professionals capable of addressing the ecological transition, in an era in which the major environmental changes on the planet have been generated by human activities. These kwoledeges are urgent and required at different spatial scales, from those connected to the territorial reality, where the course is conducted, to the planetary one.
The main skills develloped by master students focus on the investigation methodologies used by biologists in the environmental field, with particular reference to: – microbial, plant and animal biodiversity; – biochemical, biomolecular and physiological mechanisms that underlie biological balances, from organisms to ecosysistems.
