Aperçu
The Interclass Master’s Degree Course (LM5-LM43) in Digital Heritage. Museums, Archives, Libraries aims to launch a pilot project that integrates the critical tradition of humanities and historical knowledge with computer and computational sciences, in order to help reduce a gap that is still too wide in our country.
In particular, the Interclass programme stems from the desire to apply scientific tradition in the field of archiving and library science, which has been consolidated in the current Master’s degree programme in Archival and Library Heritage at Disum (LM5), towards the training of new profiles that address the challenges posed by digital transformation (LM5-LM43).
The programme aims to train innovative professionals who are experts in the enhancement, protection, promotion, conservation and enjoyment of MAB cultural heritage through digitisation and digital creativity, as well as in the digital curation of new digital cultural heritage. The programme covers the disciplines of history, archival and library science, linguistics and literature, law, art history, computer science, and physics and mathematics.
