Aperçu
The course aims to provide a solid linguistic and literary education, complemented by strong methodological training in historical and artistic disciplines. The main educational goals are:
1. Advanced knowledge of the national literary tradition from the Middle Ages to the contemporary era, enabling students to conduct independent research with critical awareness and appropriate methodologies from historical-political, cultural, linguistic-philological, and rhetorical perspectives.
2. Mastery of a solid critical method for analyzing cultural phenomena, both at the national level and within a broader European context. This includes specific expertise in the history of textual traditions, cultural phenomena and their dissemination, historical, anthropological, and geographical dynamics, and artistic progress.
3. Specialized skills in writing, producing, and editing both informational and academic texts, along with a strong overall competence in professional and scholarly communication.
4. Ability to exercise independent critical judgment and proficiency in utilizing tools that foster knowledge and promote national and European culture, both at a general public level and among experts.
5. Familiarity with digital tools for the humanities and proficiency in at least one foreign language, with a particular focus to specialized vocabularies.

Opportunités de carrière
Among the specific goals of the degree program there is the training of professionals capable of pursuing further studies to qualify them as teachers of literary subjects in lower and upper secondary schools (as long as they obtain a sufficient number of credits in the relevant disciplinary fields or other requirements established by current legislation). Additionally, the program equips graduates with highly specialized skills that can be effectively applied in other professional fields and contexts, such as the cultural and publishing industries, as well as public and private institutions.
