Resumen
The Master’s Degree Course (CdLM) in Diagnostic Technical Sciences class LM-SNT/3 is divided into two years.
The first year is aimed at providing the fundamental knowledge of technical sciences of laboratory medicine, audiometric techniques, statistics and epidemiology, safety at work, clinical risk and professional responsibility, as requirements to undertake the first internship experience, aimed at acquiring basic skills and orienting the student to the professional fields of reference. Furthermore, in the first year, knowledge in the psychological, pedagogical and sociological fields will be provided, useful for the development of skills in cultural, communicative and didactic processes.
The second year is aimed at deepening the professional skills and specific knowledge relating to the curricula of origin. The second year includes training activities relating to diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy, healthcare management, business economics, public and labor law.

Oportunidades profesionales
Graduates of the Master’s Degree in Diagnostic Technical Health Professions Sciences find their employment field in public and/or private facilities responsible for diagnosis, treatment and health care activities, in which they hold organizational/managerial and coordination roles. They may also find employment as university professors, upon obtaining any additional academic qualifications and upon passing the competitions required by current legislation. Another professional field may be facilities responsible for scientific research pertinent to the health professions pertaining to the class, in the technical-diagnostic area. Furthermore, the course will give graduates the opportunity to continue their training in research doctorates and to access the profiles of researcher and professor in the MEDS-26/A, MEDS-26/C and MEDS-26/D sectors.
