Entry qualification

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Open access course. To be admitted to this Master’s Degree Course you must be in possession of the curricular requirements and have passed the verification relating to the adequacy of the personal preparation. Please consult the Regulation of the course that you can find on the course description (scheda corso) at the following link The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Italian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Language requirements

Italian Non-eu students residing abroad who would like to enroll in a study course completely taught in Italian, have to prove their knowledge of the language through an Italian language test. The test will be organized by the CLA (University Language Centre), only after pre-enrollment on the Universitaly portal. For further information, please refer to the following page The following categories are excluded from this obligation: 1. students who intend to enroll in degree courses in English; 2. students in possession of an Italian language certification of level B2 or higher (such as CILS, CELI, Roma3 or PLIDA).

Overview

The Course of Studies in MEDICAL BIOTECHNOLOGY AND MOLECULAR MEDICINE aims to train graduates with in-depth knowledge and mastery of the scientific method in various areas of medical biotechnology in order to apply them to problem solving and the production of goods and services for the diagnosis and treatment of human diseases.
The proposed training path consists of a first year in common followed, in the second year, by a diversification into two curricula, “Molecular Medicine” and “Assisted Reproduction”.
The Course is organized into lectures and laboratory activities for 74 Credits. Moreover, there are 8 Credits chosen by the student, 30 Credits of training internship and 8 Credits reserved for passing the final exam which is a dissertation of an original experimental work (degree thesis) undertaken during the training internship under the supervision of an academic tutor. Carrying out the internship abroad is encouraged.
