Other requirements | The Course is open to all graduate students. Admission requirements consist in having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at UNIBA or in other Universities in the Computer Science field (class 26 or class L-31), or in the Information Engineering field (class 9 or L-8) together with knowledge of the English Language at level B2. For students coming from bachelor’s degree programs in the classes L-31 and L-8, with a graduation grade greater than or equal to 98/110, the personal preparation is considered adequate, without need to take any oral interview and/or examination/test; for all the other students and international students, evaluation sessions are organized in September, December and February. |

Overview
The Master Degree course in Computer Science provides vast, in-depth, theoretical, experimental and applicative competencies in the fundamental areas of Computer Science.
It has two curricula: Artificial Intelligence and Security Engineering with specific educational objectives, but also a strong cultural core basis.
The curriculum Artificial Intelligence foster a solid training on topics regarding designing and developing of systems that simulate cognitive skills and abilities typical of the human being,as well as programming expert computer systems, referring to the model-driven paradigm and the data-driven paradigm.
The curriculum Security Engineering consist in a deep training on topics such as applicative security, i.e., security in the design and development of software systems; verification and securing of legacy software systems; design of secure interfaces and access systems and evaluation of the security of interaction; secure integration with sensors and secure management of IT projects.
