Entry qualification | High school diploma issued after at least 12 years of documented studies. If the country where the qualification has been obtained requires a test for the academic suitability, you must also present the successful examination (E.g. YKS in Turkey, Selectividad in Spain, Prova de Aferiçao o Prova Geral de Acesso ao Ensino Superior in Portugal, etc.). If the qualification was obtained at the end of a school period of less than 12 years, we invite you to consult Ministerial Provisions for the access of international students with the relevant Attachment 1. This Degree Course is a scheduled access course and has an entry test requirement. THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE INDICATED IN THE ANNUAL NOTICE OF THE COURSE. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Italian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Other requirements | To be admitted to the Course of Study, you must have a second cycle secondary school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as equivalent. The study course is locally programmed, pursuant to art. 2 of Law no. 264/99, for a number of 25 places, including the quotas reserved for non-EU citizens residing abroad. The methods of carrying out the test are made known through publication of a specific notice issued by the University of Bari Aldo Moro. |

Overview
The course of study in Techniques for Sustainable Agriculture (TAS) aims to train technicians able to ensure technical / professional activities related to agricultural systems. In particular, the CdS provides students with methods and techniques that allow them to meet the challenges related to new technologies, which characterize the sustainable agriculture of this millennium with an approach that, as understood internationally, provides methods and tools aimed at preserving the “natural capital” in the definition of production processes also considering the growing need to increase production while reducing the environmental impacts of the processes involved. The graduate in “TAS” will have adequate knowledge of agricultural systems to operate according to the most up-to-date agronomic techniques besides with the ability to operate limiting the environmental impact of production according to the paradigms of sustainability taking advantage of advances in science, technology, also in the field of information and communication.

Career opportunities
The graduate technician for sustainable agriculture enters directly into the world of work hving a technical support function for other professional figures and works in specific sectors of the agricultural supply chains, plant protection and soil fertility, being able to use machines, systems and tools used in the field of precision agriculture.
The graduate is qualified to practice in “Collegio dei Periti Agrari e dei Periti Agrari Laureati” and “Collegio degli Agrotecnici e degli Agrotecnici Laureati”.
