Overview
The Course has as its fundamental objective cultural, scientific, and applicative training in the sector of movement and sports sciences. The training path is oriented towards movement and sports disciplines and biomedical disciplines, functional to the acquisition of preliminary and complementary knowledge for the training of a professional in the motor-sports field.
The teaching is focused on the knowledge of sports disciplines and the links between motor activity and health, with particular attention to the issues of health protection of movement and sports activity and the development of the individual in all phases of life, as well as on reflection on the methods of teaching motor and sports activity. Subsequently, the finalization of the activities is oriented towards the acquisition of knowledge of the theoretical and applicative aspects of training and functional and nutritional assessment of the athlete and the trained subject or of the practitioner of motor and sports activities in their free time of the orthopedics and traumatology of sport and movement and of the legislative foundations underlying the structure and functioning of sports organizations. It is also expected that they will acquire knowledge on health checks in athletes and health promotion programs based on the encouragement of physical activity and hygiene and safety requirements of sports facilities.
