Overview
The educational path of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Information Technologies provides experts in selecting, developing, applying, integrating and managing secure information technologies. The fundamentals of modern information and communication technologies are applied to a wide range of domains and with a focus on security requirements. Technical knowledge focuses on topical issues required by the job market: computer architectures and operating systems, programming and programming languages, databases and information systems, software engineering, human-computer interaction, computer networks and cyber security, web technologies and computing infrastructures.

Career opportunities
The Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Information Technologies aims at training professionals with knowledge and skills in design, development and management of IT systems evaluation; control and management of network infrastructures and IT security systems; design, development and management of systems for web communication and distributed systems; design and management of technological infrastructures suitable for both public and private enterprises.
Examples of professionals are: DevOps specialists, system, network or database administrator, network consultant and designer, web developer, expert in customisation and pre-sales of IT solutions, software designer and developer, support consultant and technical assistance.
Graduates in Computer Science and Information Technologies may enroll in the Register of Engineers (Information Sector – section B) by passing a State examination as established by Article 48 of Presidential Decree No. 328 of the 5th of June 2001.
