Overview
In order to achieve the educational objectives, the Single-Cycle Master’s Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery provides a total of 360 CFU, divided into six years of courses. At least 60 to be acquired in training activities aimed at developing specific professional skills.
The course is organized into 36 integrated courses; these are assigned specific CFU by the Council of the teaching structure in compliance with the provisions of the table of essential training activities. Each CFU corresponds to a student commitment of 25 hours, of which normally no more than 12 hours of frontal lessons, theoretical-practical teaching, or professionalizing teaching with the guidance of the teacher in small groups within the reference structure and/or the territory.
The Council of the teaching structure determines in the ‘Manifesto degli studi’ and reports in the Teaching Regulations the articulation of the integrated courses in the semesters, the relative CFU, the ‘core curriculum’ and the learning objectives (including those relating to the CFU of the professionalizing activity) specific to each integrated course, and the type of profit tests. The profit tests, in a number not exceeding 36, are scheduled by the competent Council of the teaching structure during periods of interruption of the frontal teaching activities. The profit test, passed positively, gives the right to the acquisition of the corresponding CFU.
