Other requirements | Knowledge of the English language, at least equal to B1 level (Council Europe Level or equivalent). Admission to the Master’s Degree Course in Plant Medicine requires possession of a degree or a university diploma lasting at least three years, or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as equivalent. Graduates in Agricultural Science and in Forestry Science have direct access to the personal preparation check. Knowledge of a European Union language at least B1 level is required. Graduates of other Courses can access the test after it has been ascertained by the Didactic Committee the possession of curricular requirements as follows: |

Overview
The Master Degree Course in Plant Medicine aims to provide high-profile experts with advanced knowledge and specialized skills adequate to carry out complex activities of planning and management of integrated protection of crops and plant products (Integrated Pest management, IPM). The teaching activities are addressed including the application of Good Agricultural Practices and innovative methodologies, capable of ensuring the safety of environment, operators and consumers, the quality, wholesomeness and food safety of plant products and the reduction of food loss and waste, combining economics and ethics with a view to sustainable crop management. The course takes in count driving forces which are constantly evolving, such as changes in agricultural institutions, trade and market regulations, EU agricultural policy, climate change and environmental issues, innovative technologies and biotechnology, digitization of agricultural processes and pressure from phytosanitary emergencies.

Graduates can pursue diverse career paths in public administrations and public bodies, national and international research organizations, national and international governmental and non-governmental bodies working in the agricultural sector for aid programs for transition and development countries, professional activity of technical assistance, private companies within either food or non-food sectors. Roles include horticulture therapists, plant producers, distribution and retail specialists, technical advisors, farming business development and management.
